Affiliate programme

Earn 10% when you send us customers

You will get paid when you recommend our hosting to clients, friends or an audience. Free to join, no targets, and no obligation to promote anything you don't believe in.

10% on hosting ₦1,000 minimum withdrawal New customers only

How it works

Four steps, and only the first one takes any effort.

1. Sign up

Activate the affiliate programme from your LucentHost client area. You need an account with us, but you don't need to be hosting anything.

2. Share your link

You get a unique referral link that works anywhere you can paste a URL. Most affiliates do best by mentioning it where hosting genuinely comes up rather than posting it everywhere.

3. They buy hosting

When someone new follows your link and buys their first hosting service, 10% of that order is credited to your affiliate balance.

4. Withdraw

Once your balance reaches ₦1,000 and the commission has matured, request a withdrawal from your client area.

What earns commission, and what doesn't

Read this part before you start promoting, so there are no surprises when the balance is lower than you expected.

Earns commission

Hosting plans only

Shared, anonymous, reseller and VPS hosting all qualify. The commission is 10% of the first hosting order placed by a new customer you referred.

No commission

Everything that isn't hosting

Domain registrations, transfers and renewals, SSL certificates, control panel licences and any other add-on are excluded. The programme is for web hosting only.

New customers

First service only

Commission is paid on a referred customer's first hosting purchase. Renewals, upgrades and later orders from the same customer do not earn further commission.

Not eligible

Existing customers and yourself

Someone who already holds an account with us isn't a new customer, however they arrive. You also can't earn commission on your own orders or on a second account of your own.

Who this is for

This works best if people already ask you where to host their website. You are not trying to sell to strangers, you are getting paid for advice you were giving away for free.

  • Web designers and developers

You finish a client's website and they ask where to put it. Send them your link and you get paid on their first hosting plan, without having to manage their hosting yourself.

  • Bloggers and content creators

If you write tutorials, reviews or "how to start a website" guides, your link fits naturally. Just tell your readers it is an affiliate link. They will not mind, and hiding it is what damages trust.

  • Anyone people come to for advice

Business groups, church or association members, classmates, colleagues. If someone is starting a website and asks you what to use, sharing your link costs you nothing.
